"Emotional Rain" was inspired by the uncertain space between emotions—the moments when feelings are present but not yet fully understood. Sweeping lines move across fields of blue, red, and black, creating a sense of motion and instability, as though emotions are shifting and changing before they can be named.
Built through expressive mark-making and layers of textured paint, the work embraces ambiguity rather than resolution. Like weather moving through the sky, emotions often arrive as overlapping experiences rather than singular feelings. This painting reflects that transient state, inviting viewers to connect with their own moments of uncertainty, reflection, and self-discovery.
