My name is Donna Jacobs and im an Australian Artist from Montrose, Victoria. In the heart of the Dandenong Ranges. I believe a lot of my artwork has a lot to do with my surroundings, emotions and mood.. I'm a overthinker and have had anxiety for as long as I can remember so, painting is definately a place and a timeout from my overcrowded mind which brings peace. When i'm in that zone all my pieces take quite a lot of time. If I sense im starting to lose that peaceful mode I spoke of earlier, its best to walk away and come back, or risk ruining the work I have done so far. Which, has happened. A lot of paint wasted too. So one thing I can assure any buyers is that its not just a quick splash of colour and attached a pricey tag . I try to keep my price fair and I know my buyer is paying for exactly the work and time gone into the artwork.
With a passion for creating vibrant colours, artwork that sparks conversation, or getting lost in each piece's intricate layers. I've painted for 15-20 years and now I want to show the world the uniqueness and energising pieces that will brighten up any room.
