Bio

Rebecca Hillery-Tong is a London based figurative and portrait artist.
She trained in Fine Art and Fashion Design (BA hons) at Kingston University, London, UK.
After a 30 year career as a professional fashion designer, Rebecca quit the industry to re-focus on her art practice. During lockdown in
2020 she began to create fashion inspired art and present her work online.
In 2023 sketched live at London Fashion Week as a member of FIDA
worldwide.
Her work is underpinned by her knowledge of fashion & design. It encompasses figurative,
portraiture and abstract composition.
She takes inspiration from the worlds of fashion, modern culture and contemporary art,
with a bold, expressive style and experimental use of colour. She works in mixed media, pastel, oil, acrylic, ink, charcoal and pencil.
