My name is Jovan Bethel, and I am the founder and creative force behind Protejay Studios, LLC—a visual arts brand dedicated to storytelling, empowerment, and cultural truth. Through my work, I explore the intersections of identity, healing, and social change, blending Afrocentric themes with avant-garde expression. My art is not only a reflection of personal experience but also a call to action—inviting viewers to confront systems of inequality, celebrate resilience, and embrace transformation.
At Protejay Studios, I’ve created a platform that supports underrepresented voices and communities, particularly young adults navigating issues of self-worth, stigma, and societal pressure. Whether through painting, public exhibitions, or collaborative projects, my goal is to use art as a tool for liberation, education, and advocacy.
