From memories of war to the pulse of digital dreams, I create art as a bridge between memory and hope, pain and paint. Born in Bosnia in 1985, I fled war as a refugee, finding myself in Austria across law, finance, caretaking, and art. My work is resilient - I am not.

I
My first piece of art was a personal story written. Not by me, but in me. It began with rhymes - words pouring out to repay the joy I’d borrowed from others. Then beauty struck, and I turned to brushes and acrylics, chasing a soul’s essence on canvas. My first painting, Liminalität, took two years and became cover art for the Erik-Neutsch Literary Award 2020/2021. My poem "Der Klang der mir noch fehlte" won 2nd place in the same contest. But the real jolt wasn’t the awards - it was love. A homeless refugee, mindlost and soulrefugee, in chaos twisted, hit by loss - but found in - as love would cross.

There is no technique or school or talent on this earth that could’ve done that.

Nothing else explains it.

From there, I painted 15 more acrylics, reworked them into 50 versions, and then leapt into digital art. With only my iPhoneSE2020 and free AI tools, I spun those works into over 5,000 pieces - each an echo of the same soul, refracted through tech. Using only 1 prompt that grew into more than 40 words over 5 years and yet has 1 starting point but thousands of faces.

My art videos screamed for sound, so I built beats from scratch, bumping on my iPhone microphone. Using Voloco and AI, I remixed loops until they carried my emotions. Sound and sight merged, evolving with me.

Every click, every beat, dug me deeper into myself. Now I’m exploring photography and editing, pushing my art further. This is me, unfolding.

And yet,
I am not an artist.
I was not a lawyer, distressed debt restructurer, or banker.
I work with disabled and homeless people.
I don’t have a home like I don’t own a laptop.
I don’t create art - art creates
me.


Greatest achievement
"Mirno more" (Quiet sea), a trilingual poem that is unpublished and written in Serbian, German and English. My greatest loss is "Schloss Mirabelle" a poem in Serbian, German, English and French that I only sent to one person and forever lost. Only afterwards, in time, the real loss became clear to me. And that pain delivered the poems final message - the only person who can understand it ever - by losing what I thought I had - I lost what I thought I had lost, to find myself, me, alone.
