About me My Profile Artwork

Bio
A Bay Area native, born and raised. My parents said I always exhibited artistic talent. Today I stand confident as an accomplished artist. However, a moment in time could have changed this outcome. One highschool teacher almost failed me because they did not believe I really did the class art work and home assignments or that possessed skill to produce the consistent masterpieces. A teacher parent conference was required to rectify the situation. To my teachers' astonishment they finally believed in my unique artistic talent. My parents rallied behind me to encourage my artistic expression and support me in any way they could.

To my own surprise my art has been all over the world. I have met and have customers on every continent. I was an art vendor making and selling art in various capacities at many festivals and exhibits for over two decades.

For the most part I am a self taught artist who studied art at UC Berkeley and graduated San Francisco State University with an emphasis in Liberal Arts. I have engaged in several artistic disciplines utilizing drawing, painting, charcoal, watercolor, calligraphy, sculpture, mixed media and graphic design to produce realistic self portraits, surrealism and what I call nature pop based on images from nature. Throughout the years I have continued to evolve and developed my talent to incorporate digital design into my paintings to enhance and manipulate the colors spectrum of my art.

- Artist Statement for current Exhibit -
This is what I call a 'Nature Pop' series. The beauty of flowers are colorfully stunning and carry various textures and moods. The Beautiful flower floral art is a design, contour and silhouettes of nature, growing full, abundant and luscious. The art speaks to me in so many different ways. I am Obsessed with this flower. My artistic abundance could have been stifled with a defeatist mindset projected on to me by a teacher who did not believe in my gifted artistic talent. I successfully proved them wrong and my art has continued to flourish ever since. I let my artistic expression capture moments of perspective and light in nature as in the many faces of a diamond. In my desire to engage in more creative experiences, I am inspired into a serine and meditative state as often observing nature helps us to be. I desire to inspire you with my art to delve into your own creativity.

Beautiful Flower Black Diamond
The artwork in the image is an abstract design with a metallic look, predominantly in tones of gold and silver, set against a black backdrop. The design features swirling, organic shapes that suggest motion and fluidity. The forms are intricate and stylized, giving the piece an elegant and contemporary feel. The image has a dynamic quality, as the metallic elements seem to play with light and shadow, creating depth and interest. The artwork evokes a sense of luxury and modernism.

2. Beautiful Flower Pop Greenlav
The image features a vibrant piece of wall art that centers around a stylized, abstract floral design. The predominant colors in the artwork are shades of pink, green, and yellow against a dark, possibly black, background. The floral representation is not realistic but carries a sense of fluidity and motion, with petals appearing to unfurl or twist dynamically. The artwork seems to evoke a feeling of energy and organic growth, offering a stark yet complementary contrast to the otherwise muted and modern setting it is placed in.

3. Beautiful Flower Greenpinké
The image is a highly stylized depiction of a blooming flower, characterized by its fluid and organic contours. It is a graphic illustration with a dynamic range of colors, prominently featuring shades of green, pink, and hints of black that create a bold contrast. The colors are not realistic but serve to accentuate the artistic interpretation of the flower, giving it a vibrant, almost neon-like appearance.

The depth and texture are simulated with the use of color gradients and shading, creating a sense of volume. The outlines are exaggerated and somewhat thick, which enhances the visual impact of the image. The flower appears to have multiple petals swirling outward, with some distinctive elongated shapes that might suggest movement or growth.

The style is somewhat reminiscent of modern digital art where artists often play with colors, outlines, and forms to create an image that is more evocative and expressive than a direct representation of reality. This artwork might appeal to those who appreciate contemporary interpretations of natural elements with a touch of abstraction.

4. Beautiful Flower Purple Soft
This image features an artistic depiction of a flower. The flower is stylized with dynamic, fluid lines and vibrant colors, prominently in shades of purple, pink, black, and blue, with highlights that create a metallic sheen. The piece is striking and futuristic, incorporating elements of abstraction while still maintaining the recognizable form of a flower.
