Keemar, is an artist deeply interested in exploring the human condition. His work delves into the tension between autonomy—our need to be ourselves—and homonomy—our need for acceptance and belonging—while acknowledging the significant influence of context on these processes.
This human quest for a sense of unity serves as a motivating force in his art, which expresses a concern for achieving artistic unity through the abstraction of intellectual, political, and emotional processes. Keemar's art aims to explore these complex issues and stimulate reflection on the human experience.
Keemar is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and educator with over 30 years’ experience.

Currently working from his Sheffield based studio and office.
