Blue Dragon
Oil
90 X 80 X 1 inch
This Water Blue Dragon was displayed several times since 2011 to 2015, first for the Macau Educational & Youth Bureau, which was broadcasted on TV also, then for the Macau Talents Association displayed at the Macau Tower before it was then brought to display for the 20th anniversary of commemoration of the establishment of the University of Macau. Afterwards, this was then transported to a famous Portuguese restaurant, "Boa Mesa" for display in 2015. This is one among the very first of mine own painting, which brought me new heights of fame as never before. For artists Fans who admire my productions, this is really worth buying as this is one among the first set of paintings which toured around Macau, mine homeland, displaying throughout the entire city. This is truly a significant piece among the first collection which brought me fame.
The other painting (right hand side) is also from one among the first collection entitled, "The Mandarin Mansion", which consists of a set of paintings completed for a Macau local short story situated at the historical place. The Mandarin Mansion used to be the residence of a historical educational reformer, Chiang Kuan Ying, who fought for women's education from the early 1920s to approximately 1940s. Just as the collection of the "Spiral Ladder", which the Blue Dragon and the Yellow Dragon belong to, this set of paintings named, "Mandarin Mansion", which consists of 4 paintings, were displayed at the Educational & Youth Bureau, the Macau Tower for the Macau Coração/ Macau Talents Association before they finally settled at the very popular Portuguese restaurant, "Boa Mesa". Pieces from this collection is highly recommended for owning, as it is the very first collections which marked the beginning of my own artistic career.
On the left is "Seashells Dancing", which depicts an undersea scenery of seashells dancing. It belongs to the collection of the Spiral Ladder. The Piano with Teeth is one among the very first paintings, all of which were displayed from 2011 to 2015. Its inspiration is from a dream whereby the wall is chocolate, the keys of the piano are imagined to be teeth (11), and the sound pipes through the ceiling, broadcasting through a loudspeaker.
On the right is the "Mandarin Mansion", depicting the main character of the short story of the Chinese educational reformer. This series of paintings completed for the short story which I wrote for the Macau Coração/ Macau Talents Association inspired lots of local Macanese or Chinese-English writers from Macau to produce story-writing of our generation speaking of our identity. This collection is still on-going to be completed, as a number of paintings are planned ahead to be painted. Bid price from as indicated.

The Spiral Ladder
Oil
70 X 60 X 1 inch
This is truly a significant piece to own as it's my first painting painted among the collection which toured around galleries and institutions locally for displays in Macau. It was first displayed at the Macau Educational & Youth Bureau in 2011 broadcasted by the local TV company. Then, it was displayed for the Macau Coração/ Macau Talents Association at the Macau Tower. Previously interviewed by the Portuguese newspaper as a local painting artist, another English newspaper also spotted me highlighting me for a page about this event. Afterwards, this painting was displayed with other paintings of the collection at the University of Macau for its 20th anniversary commemoration of its establishment. As this painting toured around local Macau galleries, it finally was situated at a famous Portuguese restaurant, "Boa Mesa". The third image is a newly painting entitled, "The Mandarin Mansion", which is a historical site rich in story about an educational reformer in the early 1920s to 1940s. This belongs to another collection of paintings which were completed for a Chinese short story set at the scene. The original one is donated, but one replica can be sold at the listed price as the Yellow Dragon.
