Spirit of Cacao

From my connection with the spirit of Cacao and Keith of Keith's Cacao - food for the Shift in Consciousness....In 2008 I met with Keith Wilson, the 'Chocolate Shaman'. Many twists and turns later and 'she' suggested I not only work with her but also paint her 'portrait'. My images are not literal representations but are intended as meditation and healing tools for those already aware of the spiritual dimensions. I have a 'mixed' background which is why my images often contain references from Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity and more. In this image I have painted a globe turned to show Guatemala, because this is where the true ceremonial form of Cacao is grown; most of the others available are hybrids which lack the ceremonial qualities. This form is the closest we have to the type used by the ancient Mayans, who considered 'her' to be a deity. 'She' is balanced in male/female energies (snake imagery), sitting atop a purple lotus to indicate her enlightening qualities. 'She' is sending out heart healing rays from her heart to ours. Her 3 faces represent past, present, future. Her eyes are open only at the front because she encourages us to live in the moment, but the past/present faces are also breathing in the scent of the flowers of the Cacao to indicate the lessons we gain from embracing our past pains and future fears. The radiating purple/blue rays I employ to suggest the energetic power Cacao has, while the white is a reference to the spiral and cosmic rays which are being sent to our planet by our Elders, assisting in our Awakening of Consciousness. Cacao has reintroduced herself to the World, to the West, largely thanks to Keith, the Westerner to whom she first connected, urging him to take Cacao "out of the rainforest", into the world at this time of need. The Violet Flame of Transmutation

Oil on canvas. The cobalt blue background suggests the template level reality, the flames and mottled energy are both an indication of the non-physical Soul self, within which is created the physical form.
I have added the main eight energy centres or chakras (shock-ras) - vortices which take in spirit energy, distributing it along the central column of light, which can be seen rather like a softly glowing florescent tube running up from beneath the feet and leaving through the crown, seemingly onto infinity. I have deliberately created the human form as non-gender specific, in part to make this appealing to all, in part to underline the truth that gender is only a construct that is relevant in the manifest or physical life (or dream).
I first read about meditations to utilise the tool known as 'the violet flame' or 'silver-violet flame' via a second-hand book given to me in 2018 by a friend who'd found it in a box of library cast-offs. It's title is 'The Twelve Blessings: the Cosmic Concept as given by the Master Jesus'. I have a Judaic-Christian-Hindu heritage in the human life sense and strongly connected with the spiritual side since childhood, especially Jesus as a 16 year old, so this book coming to me made complete sense.
The Flame of Transmutation is given as The Sixth Blessing on page 32. Channelled by George King, first published in 1958 by The Aetherius Society, London. This tool for self-healing, for the transmutation/letting go of negative beliefs, feelings has become very popular in recent times. Many wonderful guided meditations and related music/frequencies may be found on channels such as Youtube.com

Inspired by a meditation into the Void, represented by the white centre. Outer colours suggest the lessons of the chakras/energy centres we travel through during this human life experience. The Indian-stylised lotus petals suggest the unfoldment of this life, of each chakra as we overcome the challenges inherent in the lessons of the chakras. The sky blue (throat chakra) indicates the enhanced flow in communication between the 'higher' and 'lower'/persona selves that we develop as we deepen trust in our own inner being, inner knowing. Isis (ancient Kemetian/Egyptian: Aset or Auset) is traditionally known as 'Queen of Heaven' and 'Great Mother'. Her attributes have been merged or overlaid with those of Hathor and later with 'Mother Mary'.
The wings represent protection, the vulture headdress is a symbol of royal Motherhood. In this context 'royal' refers to one who is mother of all, in the sense of a nurturer and supporter of all beings.
Heaven or the higher dimensions is represented by the sky blue, earth by the lotus, of which there are five. Five is the number of Humanity (think a head and four limbs, for example). All of us must go through the journey of darkness - light during our physical life experience. The lotus is a symbol for this journey - rooted and growing in mud, darkness, reaching upwards towards the light.....

Nephthys, Nebt-het: Transformation

Often found in ancient Egypt alongside Isis/Auset as a protector, signified by the outstretched wings, Nephthys, (her Greek name)(pronouced, Nef-teez/Nef-this) sits on folded cloth of gold from which 13 golden pearls hang, 13 being the number of transformation. Her headdress I have painted to represent the wings of a kite or hawk, birds she has been associated with.

A commissioned piece by a lady who had struggled for years to get the necessary support for her sons who are on the spectrum. The tree where autistic people communicate is something that just came in a vision, but I have recently learnt that this is a real, albeit, non-physical place....I, too, would quite likely be diagnosed as on the spectrum myself. This is an image I intend to recreate and expand upon when I have the opportunity. Unfortunately I only have this poor quality image available.

Serenity Prayer

Commission where I had free-rein as to how to depict this well known prayer or affirmation. Note - this includes the Hindu Swastika - an ancient symbol which was adopted for negative purposes by the Nazis. Traditionally, this is a postive symbol, believed to be at least 12,000 years old. It signifies peace, prosperity, auspiciousness, luck and universal brother/sisterhood. It's name is derived from a Sanskrit word 'swasti', meaning 'may all be well with you'. It is also used in Buddhism and Jainism.
I also used a tree of life, water, two angelic beings/nature spirits and several other symbolism to create a unique version of this section of the well-loved prayer for balance and strength.
