Details: I painted this after a long telephone conversation with someone I’d got to know during an extended stay in hospital. We live 200 miles apart and neither of us drives, so we don’t see each other often. And when we talk we understand each other’s situation exactly … if there’s one person who knows how I feel. Always concern for the other knowing exactly how bad their bad times are. And that’s ‘True Friendship’. The painting will be sent wrapped in glassine paper to protect the front, corner protectors held on by cling wrap, encased in a waterproof bubble wrap and packaged in double-walled cardboard.
